A collaborative storytelling tool

Storybird is a  storytelling tool that lets you easily create stories illustrated by art from talented artists. You can use the art to spark your learners’ interests and to inspire them to develop their own stories. For example, see how many different stories learners can create using the same artwork sets or let learners go wild and explore all the different artwork sets available.

A particularly nice feature of the tool is that you can let learners collaborate on stories to make a game out of writing.

You do have to register  for Storybird but it’s free and an extremely easy way to create professionally illustrated stories.
